Call of Duty: Modern Warfare makes it perfectly clear how helpless today's police force is in the big cities of Western civilisation. The panic is gigantic and the perpetrators merge with the crowd. Another explosion drowns out the sirens of an ambulance just for a moment. British people asking for help look exactly the same as enemies with automatic weapons.
